Happy Darwin Day!

Here's to Charles Darwin! Nearly two hundred laps around the Sun since his birth and his theory of evolution by natural selection is still fundimentally sound. His work brought modern biology to life and offered the first rational explaination of how all life and its wonderful diversity came be.

Gotta give some props to Gregor Mendel too. His birthday isn't until July but his theory of genetics was the tag-team partner that evolution needed in order to dominate the biology cage-match.

Gotta put this one on my calendar. 
But if you think about it though, why can't we just get along with the creationists? After all, aren't we fighting over whether we came out of the slime or dirt?  ;-)
