Nipples to the Wind

Last night Tracy & I had a pretty interesting evening I'd like to share. We had spent most of the day doing work around the house. I was focused on changing the setup of our house rabbits. We have two adopted bunnies, and we are a foster site for the House Rabbit Connection. That's worth another blog entry of its own. So once the house work was done for the day, we went out to meet a bunch of local vegetarians for our monthly "restaurant hop".
A group of people meet every month at a different restaurant. Usually we go to vegetarian restaurants since we're all vegetarians and mostly vegans. This month we went to Duck's Soup, a vegetarian cafe in Hamden, Connecticut. I eat there at least twice a week while I'm taking classes in New Haven, so I was very excited to show the place off to some of my friends. Needless to say Kathleen and the crew there had us stuffed to the point of bursting and everyone went away happy.
After dinner Tracy & I went to the "Little Theater" in New Haven to watch the first performance of Nipples to the Wind, a new play that my friend and former roommate Kat O'Sullivan is working on. She's the stage manager and, while I know nothing about managing stages, she did the best job of any stage manager, ever. The dates for this play's tour are just getting in place, but if you get a chance to see it, I highly recommend it. The characters are terrific and everyone laughed all night.
